Neil initially worked within the NHS and subsequently moved into private physiotherapy, now working from his own private practice. Neil specialises in working with golfers following spells with sports including rugby, football, squash and endurance racing.
The combination of Neil’s physiotherapy and TPI training mean that Neil’s understanding of the human body and the mechanics of the golf swing allow for a comprehensive physiotherapy and performance training service for golfers. His certification with the Titleist Performance Institute in both their medical and fitness fields facilitates an in depth analysis of how a golfer’s body is performing during the swing. The TPI medical screen is the most in depth analysis of the function of the human body that TPI provide. It is used by the top TPI trainers when looking to analyse and then correct movement patterns before loading with strength and power training.
How can Neil help you?
The function of every area of your body will be assessed in relation to mobility/stability/balance/strength/power. An in depth analysis of the screening results will allow Neil to discuss how the issues found will be impacting on your coaches goals for your swing development. Your club head speed will improve through improvement in efficiency of movement combined with speed and power development. Neil will also manage any issues found which are involved in injury prevention, keeping you pain free and able to compete, limiting the chances of missing events. Working with Neil will mean that you are physically prepared to perform at your best on the course.
